Glitch

I noticed Ether has what I assume is a glitch, that I sometimes feel grateful for, but also sometimes lament for.
The glitch?
When you post a comment and click the anonymous button, it will still show up with your color on Ethers main page under the most recent thoughts. And it also does not seem to leave you with an option to delete the comment if it is on a post you have written.
I sometimes write my posts anonymously as it feels more comfortable this way. On those posts I will sometimes want to go into the comments and add further reflections as time goes on or will want to respond to others comments while still remaining anonymous. I end up having to delete the entire original post- because I cannot comment and keep my anonymity.
At times deleting the post has been oddly relieving, like burning a letter or freeing myself from whatever weight that post carried, but sometimes it’s a difficult loss, of a writing I wanted to hold on to.
Then again, sometimes, when I post anonymously, I forget what I titled the thought and can never find it anyway, because my anonymous thoughts are not contained and collected anywhere like my colored thoughts are, on my profile.
This is no judgment of Ether. I love this space. Perhaps it is just a sign that I need to be brave enough to own my words with my color. Funny how a glitch can make one deeply reflect on their own thoughts and identity.
